Our Families We can’t imagine our life without our family. We are fortunate that our family lives close by. We are close to our parents and stay in touch through frequent visits. Jeanette and her mom are like sisters, talking every week. Jeanette has two brothers, one of whom was touched by adoption when his son was lovingly placed with him and his wife. We also have lots of nieces and nephews that we love to dote on. |

We visit Tom’s parents at least once a month since they live only 20 minutes away. We love visiting with his brother and his family in Colorado. We have made a tradition of visiting Tom’s godparents on Christmas Eve when we eat Baca Lau, a Portuguese dish. We also love Christmas potluck dinners at Jeanette’s family home where we have huge family gatherings with parents and kids to enjoy homemade tamales. Our families are so supportive of us and are eagerly awaiting the arrival of our bundle of joy! |
